Модель: Electronic government (e-Government) has established itself an effective mechanism for increasing government’s productivity and efficiency and a key enabler of citizen oriented services. From an adoption perspective, these services are yet to be accepted by citizens. By reviewing the existing literature on technology adoption and e-Government in Sri Lankan context, this study developed a better understanding of the gaps that exists. The research draws from well-established theoretical model; the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) for understanding citizens’ adoption. The research adopted quantitative method to explore factors and the results showed that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy and Social Influence were positively influencing the citizens’ Intention and Use Behaviour of e-Government services. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.
Модель: E-government is the use of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet and World Wide Web, to improve the efficiency, cost and quality of the government services and information provided to its stakeholders: citizens as well as businesses, employees and other government agencies. However, despite the governments' growing investment in electronic services, at both national and local government levels, e-government research results present evidence of low-level citizen adoption of e-government services. Therefore, this book aims to discuss issues related to e-government adoption in developing countries. Particularly, this book investigates citizen adoption of e-government and explores factors affecting the level of adoption of e-government services. Importantly, this book develops a conceptual framework that is based on previous literature of Technology Acceptance Model in order to examine the relationships between certain factors (government trustworthiness, culture and perceived public value) and citizen adoption of e-government services. Target audience for this book includes students, researchers and practitioners in the field of e-government. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.
Модель: Information and communications technology (ICT) has been offering enormous opportunities for individuals, business and society to enhance efficiency. There is increasing attention paid to the adoption and use of ICT in various disciplines from researchers, for example in e-Government. This research will be examining the diffusion of ICT in e-Government, with respect to the typical stages from adoption to post-adoption in analysing the actual adoption factors and its consequences. This study has employed a quantitative method research approach. Its framework is developed through an extensive literature review and is refined by results from the survey analysis. The research model is composed of 13 reflective constructs. The study found that perceived usefulness, trust and compatibility are important antecedents of attitudes towards using social media in e-Government. In addition to attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control both contribute significantly to the intentions of citizens to use social media. The findings also revealed that the constructs are notably impacting the level of trust and transparency of e-Government services and the government in general. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.
Модель: Although e-government initiatives have been introduced at all levels of government, the implementation of e-government at the local government level is trailing behind national e-government progress in most countries, including New Zealand. This study addresses this issue by (1) assessing the websites maturity of all local councils in New Zealand; (2) identifying citizen expectations of local e-government, and factors that influence their participation in it; and (3) exploring factors that have influenced the implementation of local e-government initiatives. The findings are that the overall level of local e-government maturity is at a relatively immature. Citizens’ awareness of available local e-government services is relatively low, and their expectations from e-government remained largely unmet. The major barriers include the lack of an e-government strategy, limitations in broadband access, a lack of skilled human resources, low levels of interoperability and inter-agency collaboration.. The implication is that it will be difficult for local government in New Zealand to meet the established national e-government targets for 2020 if progress continues at its current pace. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.

Модель: This book is review of current trends and strategies in the area of e-governance. In the current democracies, there is an increasing demand to bring citizens closer to the government and to improve delivery of government services. There is always pressure on the government to achieve its objective within the budget constraints, an effective E-governance solution seems to be the better way out by offering opportunities for governments to re-invent themselves & deliver services at reduced time to its various clients and Citizens (G2C), Business (G2B), Employee (G2E) and Government (G2G). Today, as citizens are becoming more and more conscious of their right to get the required services and as both the state and Central governments recognize the need to deliver faster and efficient services to the ordinary citizens, e-governance (or government 'online') has emerged as an effective instrument of administration. E-governance and Internet are inseparable, as Internet is the medium connecting the citizen and government. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.

Модель: Nepal is relatively underdeveloped country that is in the process of initiating E-Government with the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). It has undertaken many ICT related projects to improve service by utilizing technology in governmental affairs. At the same time, government has not been able to complete the mandated ICT projects according to targeted schedule, the E-Government services are not citizens-centered and still the government is following manual procedure. Above problems is due to lack of strategic IT planning. The work focuses on quantitative and qualitative research techniques that help to understand IT planning process. By analyzing questionnaire responses, case studies and literature review, a conceptual framework is proposed and a prototype is designed which represents a single unified E-Government web portal. The Framework will help country like Nepal to give a broad view of E-Government strategy and guidelines. And the proposed prototype could act as a guide to develop a fully integrated E-Government web portal for Nepal in future. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.
Модель: Strategic use of ICT has been viewed as an essential vehicle for socioeconomic development of a country nowadays. Most governments in developing countries have made remarkable strides in implementing ICT-based strategies, particularly e-Government projects, to improve the quality and efficiency of public services, strengthen intra-government information flows, promote accountability and transparency, procure goods and services fairly and efficiently, encourage citizens’ participation in decision making processes, and inform citizens about government operations and services. While potential opportunities offered by e-Government are numerous, a comprehensive and coherent e-Government strategy is an essential constituent for successful implementation of projects. It enables all agencies to work in a consistent way by treating the state as a single enterprise. Without clear vision and strategic plan, governments may have difficulty in identifying what they need to do or how to prioritize actions. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.

Модель: For the actual existence of e-government it is necessary and crucial to provide public information and documentation, and making its access simple to citizens. This book contributes with a study about developing e-government systems that process natural language to create structured semantic information which is automatically manipulated to meet citizens’ needs and expectations. In order to put this to test, this work was developed in three major phases: (1) design of a conceptual model, in line with the vision of e-government, integrating the creation of structured information and making it available to various actors; (2) selection of state-of-the-art software tools and definition of a prototype instantiating the key modules of the conceptual model, including access based on natural language; (3) assessment of the usability and acceptability of querying information as made possible by the prototype - and in consequence of the conceptual model - by users in a realistic scenario, that includes comparison with forms of access available today in production systems. The evaluation results show that the proposed model was perceived as more effective and useful than the alternatives. - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.

Модель: E-Governance is the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for delivering government services, exchange of information communication transactions, integration of various stand-alone systems as well as back office processes and interactions within the entire government frame work. Through the e-Governance, the government services will be made available to the citizens in a convenient, efficient and transparent manner. The three main target groups that can be distinguished in governance concepts are Government, citizens and businesses/interest groups. In e-Governance there are no distinct boundaries. Generally four basic models are available-Government to Customer (Citizen), Government to Employees, Government to Government and Government to Business. Cloud computing is the use of computing resources (hardware and software) that are delivered as a service over a network (typically the Internet). The name comes from the common use of a cloud-shaped symbol as an abstraction for the complex infrastructure it contains in system diagrams. Модель: Most of the developing countries are characterized by a weakness of human assets and are the most economic vulnerable in the world and yet these issues have a strong bearing on the success of e- government implementation in developing countries. In most of the developing regions where English is not the native language, availability of relevant and accessible content and the digital literacy are major issues. More than half of the population are below the poverty line or lives on less than $1.25(PPP) per day. Only 21.1% of the developing countries population use internet, compared to 71.6% of internet usage in developed countries. This study investigated the influence of income, education, ICT Infrastructure and electricity to e-government implementation in developing countries and concluded that the level of Income, Education and access to ICT Infrastructure affects citizens’ demand for e-government services whereas access to electricity doesn’t. We therefore propose customer segmentation as a good framework for e-government implementation in developing countries basing on situational analysis of developing countries and different existing approaches to e-government implementation - смотреть adoption of e government by citizens на сайте интернет-магазина.
